The vanguard and fresh sound that Alex Acosta owns, has helped him become one of the latest Mexican Talent with great success around the globe. His music is well accepted and played by world known DJs in different clubs worldwide. This has allowed him to gain a solid fan base. Proof of that are packed clubs in every venue he plays.

Alex Acosta has been traveling through out Mexico, playing in the most of important clubs in the country, being a DJ Resident of several of them: Monica’s Club (Guadalajara), Club Mañana (Puerto Vallarta), Nation & BY Club (León). Towards mid 2010, Alex Acosta starts touring through different cities in the U.S. This allows him to bring his unique sound to major clubs such as: The Factory (Los Angeles), Rich’s (San Diego), The Brick (Dallas) & Space 550 (San Francisco). Also, Alex Acosta was invited to be part of Official Events for World known San Francisco Pride 2010 (and playing for a crowd, over 15,000 people). Due to the Success that Alex Acosta had in his first visit, he’s been asked to be part of this year World Known "Folsom Street Fair" in San Francisco, CA. Finally, Alex Acosta will be headlining this Year’s Vallarta Fever 2010 (in Puerto Vallarta)

In Studio, Alex Acosta has worked with several Recording Labels. From Mexico (Bearlin Records, MasLabel, Universal Mexico, Pure Jaus, 76 Recordings), as well International Record Labels (Defected House, Fly Away, Universal, Bill Friar Entertainment, Deepah Recordings, Dance Music Label, among others). This has allowed him to work with Major International Artist such as Kristine W, Jenn Cuneta, Eric Redd, Ceevox, Ann Nesby, as well as with Mexican International Stars such as Gloria Trevi, Maria Jose, Lucia Mendez & Maya Karuna. Finally, Alex has worked with International Producers, such as: Micky Friedmann, Alex Botar, Jose Spinnin, Andres Mijangos, Edson Pride, Joy Marquez, Martin Fry among others.)

In 2008, Alex Acosta teams up with Jose Spinnin Cortes, creaeting the “Stereo Butchers” duo, in which they release several remixes, as well as couple of EPs, which have topped Underground Club Radio Charts around the world. Towards the end of 2009, Alex Acosta (as part of “Stereo Butchers” remix duo) wins Beatportal’s & Black Eyed Peas Contest for “I Got A Feeling”, being nominated by the readers of the blog, and personally selected by the Black Eyed Peas.

The Experience that Alex has acquired during his DJ life span has helped him to develop a very unique and versatile sound, which has allowed him to get to know his crowd very well. His sets can range from House to Tribal, from Circuit to Tech. All of them mixed with an excellent technique and special touch for an amazing music selection that will blow everyone’s mind away.
